We heard a rumor got word that the Zune HD was going to be previewed at select Best Buy stores today, but as far Best Buy Houston stores were concerned, it was apparently no show. Luckily, we’ve got this sneak peak at what could be its packaging as a consolation. Notice anything different? Yup, that’s right. The last line says games so that’s definitely something that can take advantage of its Nvidida Tegra chip and will set this new Zune HD apart from its earlier predecessors. So, like what you see? Seriously guys… are you daft? Not all stores were going to have ZUNEHDs and on top f all that if you guys even bothered to read, nvidia was the one who released a press release to the press and anyone who was interested that there would be previews this weekend at certain stores on certain dates. Essentially, this is truth, and not a rumor. Good fail guys, good fail.

I can vouch for at least one houston location–greenspoint Best Buy’s MS rep never came….what’s more worrisome is that NO ONE at that particular best buy location new anything about the demo except for the manager who seemed to have forgotten to tell anyone! the mp3 salesman got the MS rep’s # from his manager and proceeded to call him for over an hour to figure out if he’d be late or not come at all…but the guy never answered his phone, so i gave up on the dude and left. i’m hoping someone will be at the final houston location today!!!

Research is your friend. It makes you seem as your not a reliable source when details are released and you still can get them right.

I’ve been scouring the different Houston Best Buy stores looking for this, but was disappointed not to find it. I’ve given up on the preview already.
