This isn’t the first the time we’ve heard of an Apple tablet rumor, but it is, however, the first that a 13-inch and 15-inch model has been thrown into the mix.

According to an unnamed but reliable source, these two new tablet variants were spotted in a Shenzuen factory in China, and one of them even ran Mac OS X 10.5. Our guess is that it was the 15-inch model being alluded to here. Moving on, it was also divulged that they were made of aluminum which is probably the closest we’ll ever get to a hint as to what it will possibly look like with the exception, of course, to the numerous time it has been called a larger version of the iPhone.

More after the break.

However, before you get all excited at the prospect of seeing 3 variants of the upcoming Macbook Nano Touch device, this is actually no guarantee that all three devices will hit the market. A former employee who used to work in their R&D division shared his take on this new rumor and admits that Apple has a tradition of building multiple variants of a device before choosing just one to make available to the public. Needless to say, we’re not to keen on the idea that all three Apple tablet variants will be released on day one.
On a good note, however, Giz says the source has been correct 100% of the time in his reports so there’s no reason to doubt this latest one in anyway. So, if you were Apple, which one would you choose to release into the market, the 10-inch, 13-inch or the 15-inch version?

Mac OS X inside is a must (not the crippled and limited OS X of the iPhone and iPod touch).
To run full-blown videopresentations from NATIVE Keynote (.key) and PowerPoint (.ppt) files, using video-out and USB2 ports for the wireless remote control.
And most importantly, as light as possible (400 g would be great). Because the MacBook Air is too heavy, too large and too port-crippled.
Here is an order of thousands for our University.
