So it isn’t the iPod Touch but the iPod Nano who will benefit from a built-in camera. Available in nine colors and in 8GB ($149) and 16GB ($179) storage options, the 5G iPod Nano will also have a slightly bigger 2.2-inch screen and these goodies:
- FM tuner (at long last) with Live Pause
- microphone, and (egad!) built-in speaker
- iTunes tagging
- Pedometer (for Nike+)
- VoiceOver
- voice memos
- aforementioned video camera takes is only VGA but takes 30fps videos
The 5G Nano comes in similar size as the old one. Pardon my enthusiasm but this is the best announcement from Apple today. I like it very much.
