Display quality is average.
Cannot recognize MPEG4 Xvid , MPEG4v2 , AVI w/Microsof encoding.

There is also nothing mentioned in the feature list about h.264 (LP/MP/HP) codec support or playing mkv files. It only says “Support more video formats by upgrading firmware” which could mean nothing at all.
I fear that it will be impossible to play h.264 HP with such an inexpensive device.
…
Add WLAN + Webbrowser, h.264 HP support, double the price and it would be a great deal.

Common guys,
for the 8 inch machine with this price range, it’s an affordable piece of PMP you can ever find.
Just be patient, the company intend to built in a firmware upgrade feature means you will have the update soon, I am happy with it for now. With 24Gb of totals space (8Gb internal + 16Gb Micro SHDC), couple 720P movies and lot of songs.
For other things you asked for built in, look at the Archos 5 Tablet with the retail tag price as low as US$350, you get what you paid for.
Cheers.
