Yeah, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 has officially been announced already, but we’ve yet to see it become available in the market. Nonetheless, we’re now hearing talk of when the QWERTY-less XPERIA X3 might possibly hit the scene. Word is that January 2010 is the likely month when consumers finally land their own Snapdgron-powered Android-based XPERIA phone although there’s some basis to think otherwise. January could also possibly be the month when the XPERIA X2 hits the store shelves as well. So it does really make a whole lot of sense for Sony Ericsson to release two XPERIA devices in the same month forcing their dwindling number of followers to choose just one or the other. Of course, if you take a look at their background, you’ll quickly realize that, apart from their XPERIA lineage, they’re actually two very different phones. In this regard, it makes a little more sense. Anyway, we’re still taking this bit of news with a grain of salt until more substantial info surfaces to back this one up.
