The Garmin-Asus Nuviphone G60 will set back interested consumers $299.99 after a $100 rebate with a 2-year contract. An unbelievable price especially after the new iphone announcements. With no contract, the Nuviphone, apparently, is worth $550 on its own. This means, wireless providers are simply not willing to dish out a huge sum to subsidize it, unlike the iPhone.
The Nuviphone is out in some parts of Asia. Hopefully, both Garmin and Asus will not be thinking of investing too much on such a pricey and bulky GPS phone.
