Finally, after a long and seemingly endless wait, the Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 has now been officially announced in the US. It will be available on AT&T beginning October 4th. The nuvifone G60 price is pegged at $299.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate is applied) on a 2-yr contract. It will also come with a 30-day trial of the nuvifone Premium Connect service which includes traffic, weather, movie, fuel price updates, movie schedules as well as local events, and can be availed of for $5.99/month once the trial period expires. As quick recap, the Garmin-Asus nuviphone G60 boasts of a 3.55-inch touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS capabilities, HSDPA connectivity, and 16GB of internal memory.
