Apple may have solved the issue regarding MMS and cut/paste with iPhone firmware 3.0, Flash support still remains to be a distant dream yet to be fulfilled. Adobe, for their part, didn’t make any grand announcements at Adobe MAX 2009 of Flash coming to the iPhone anytime soon, but they did, however, bring some glad tidings to Flash app developers hoping to get their works distributed via the App Store and on the iPhone. Adobe Flash Professional CS5 allows developers to easily convert Flash based apps to native iPhone-friendly coded apps. To date, a total of 8 apps were already converted using this all of which have been approved and are currently available at the App Store. Yeah, this news won’t probably mean much to the iPhone user still waiting on Flash to be supported on their device, but this does open up a whole new world for app developers.
A public beta version of Adobe Flash Professional CS5 is scheduled to be released later this year, and once this happens, we’re expecting a flurry of new iPhone Apps submissions to flood the App Store gates.

There are already something like 80 thousand apps for the iPhone. Now it looks like that might just be the start. Creating games with Flash is an easy intuitive way for those with limited skills to create games.
I foresee an explosion of new games for the iPhone.
