Nokia Booklet 3G launching on O2 Germany on October 22

Nokia Booklet 3G

It’s just been announced that the Nokia Booklet 3G will be ready for retail in Germany via O2 beginning on October 22nd. So, how much will the very first netbook from Nokia cost? According to the announcement, it will be retailing for €249 (roughly $365) with a 2-yr contract of €20 ($29)/month which, in effect, means you’ll be paying a total of €489 ($1061) for the Nokia Booklet 3G. That’s way more expensive than the rumored $799 selling price and nearly doubles what’s been spotted over at Best Buy. Nonetheless, if you’re willing spend as much, you’ll be getting 10-inch 1280×720 resolution display, 3G/HSPA connectivity, GPS, an astounding 12 hour battery life, and Windows 7 as part of the package apart from the usual Intel Atom 1.6GHz Z530 processor, 1GB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 120GB hard drive. So, now that it’s official, will you be getting yourself a Nokia Booklet 3G from O2 Germany soon?

I live in Denmark and here for the equivalent of a quarter, i.e. 0,25 $ (1DKK) anyone can get the latest models of netbooks by Lenovo, LG, Samsung ,HP (Vivienne Tam edition excluded), Acer and probably some other I didn’t see , if he agrees to sign a 6 months unlimited data plan for about 15 bucks a month.
I doubt that anyone will be tempted to drop 250 euros just to get the Nokia logo on his netbook
