Mobile Phone, hiphone

The most famous iPhone clone is at it again: HiPhone has a Nanoesque phone to tickle everyone’s fancy all the way to Christmas. Take that SciPhone! We surely hope you’d buy this one. In fact, I predict there will be a horde of surprised colleagues, friends, bosses, aunts, uncles, nices and nephews this Christmas when they all unwrap their new HiPhone F320.

You see, this iPhone clone is unique among iPhone clones–not to mention that it’s specifically an iPod Nano clone–in that it dares to be innovative. The HiPhone F320 doesn’t have a clickwheel below the screen but a dial-wheel. Unfortunately, the numerical keys are push-button and not the rotary type of old. Other features:

  • quadband GSM
  • 2.6-inch touchscreen
  • 1.3 MP camera (video recorder)
  • MP4/ MP3
  • Bluetooth, FM

[...] With a name like HiPhone, it has to be good, right? Totally. The outfit famous for knocking off RIM’s BlackBerry Storm in impressive fashion is back, this time with a psychedelic mishmash that could make even the most hardened soul chuckle once or twice. The F320 is — as you can so clearly see above — a terribly funny combination of iPod nano and rotary phone, and while we wouldn’t trust the specifications for a minute, we’re told that it’s a dual-band GSM handset with a built-in multimedia player, FM tuner, camera, 2.6-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth. There’s no mention of a price (unless you’re willing to commit to buying a few hundred), but trust us, it’s better that way. [Via PMP Today] [...]

[...] You know those knock offs of famous phones that you get to see when a phone is in high demand. Remember all the iPhone knock offs? Well, this time such a company has gone too far and made something that looks like they got one of those round dial-bearing phones to mate with an iPod Nano and produce this aberration. Have a few laughs. [read] [...]
