Like us, a lot of you guys out there were probably impressed with the Maemo-powered Nokia N900, and couldn’t wait to get your hands on one. People in the US were a little bit more fortunate than us here in Asian as they’ve gotten word that the Nokia N900 will be available for retail this month.
Unfortunately though, the latest news doesn’t bear glad tidings for hopeful N900 early adaptors. The release of the new Nokia flagship phone has been pushed back to November. Of course, given that November is just a stone’s throw away, this shouldn’t be much of a big deal for most people, but for those who suffered many a sleepless nights waiting for the availability of the N900 will definitely be disappointed.
As for its price, it’s reported to retail for around 500 Euros ($750) sans tax and subsidies. It’s pricey alright, but with its postponed release, this just gives you guys more time to save up for it.
