Geohot’s latest release is still basically an iPhone 3.1.2 jailbreak, and if there’s one thing the iPhone Dev Team has the upper hand on is that they have an iPhone unlock under their name. Well, that’s about to change though as Geohot has just announced that he’s ready to release an iPhone unlock of his own via blackra1n aptly called blacksn0w (no doubt in reference to the Dev Team’s yellowsn0w and ultrasnow iPhone unlock).

The video above is a teaser of what we can expect to be launched on November 4. With Geohot now joining in to get himself a piece of the action, things are definitely looking a lot brighter for the iPhone unlock front .
