Potential iPhone users in the United Kingdom will have two wireless providers to choose from starting November 10.
Orange will be offering the iPhone at nearly similar prices compared to O2. Orange UK CEO Tom Alexander had earlier confirmed that the wireless provider will seek a route other than a price war to attract people interested in the iPhone to Orange. Britain’s other network, 3, has also claimed to be next in line for the Apple phone in 2010.
Orange will offer the iPhone for free on a 73.41 pound monthly tariff and two-year contract. The Orange iPhone plans are basically similar to O2’s.
