Verizon’s iDon’t commerical was not about the Motorola Droid after all. It has always been about iPhone–specifically, iPhone on the AT&T network, as we clearly see in the wireless giant’s new commercials. They’ve added several more anti-iPhone and anti-AT&T ads to complement the iDon’t commercial.
And AT&T is suing them for misrepresenting their network coverage:
In essence, we believe the ads mislead consumers into believing that AT&T doesn’t offer ANY wireless service in the vast majority of the country. In fact, AT&T’s wireless network blankets the US, reaching approximately 296M people. Additionally, our 3G service is available in over 9,600 cities and towns. Verizon’s misleading advertising tactics appear to be a response to AT&T’s strong leadership in smartphones. We have twice the number of smartphone customers… and we’ve beaten them two quarters in a row on net post-paid subscribers. We also had lower churn — a sign that customers are quite happy with the service they receive. More from Engadget.
Verizon, on the other hand, just keeps on twisting that 3G coverage knife with two more ads:

Great collection.I would like to say about Verizon Misfit Toys.It is part of that deal was not allowing verizon application and services as well though which is where they make a lot of their money, in services.and about them attacking the only thing apple cant control, the droid attacks were squared at the iPhones short comings. all of which can be controlled by apple. Come on now, a 5 megapixel camera is slowly becoming a smartphone essential.

I think it is very misleading……Verizon only has one network 3G, AT&T has 2 networks 2.5G and 3G. If you want to compare coverage to coverage there networks are almost Identical.
Oh yeah, nobody and I mean nobody will ever produce an Iphone killer! The Iphone will only get better.

WOW but what verizon doesent tell you is, you can talk and txt and go on the web with AT&T. You cant do that with Verizon. AT&T is so much better than veizon. You aslo have a hell of alot more apps. And dont forget you get rollover with AT&T. Verizon is a rip off plain and simple quit hateing Verizon
