If you’re on the lookout for an unassuming PMP from a well-known brand, you might want to take a look at the ZEN X-Fi2. Creative has three versions now available for delivery. The 8GB is $129.99, 16GB $179.99, while the 32GB is $229.99. Nothing special on this PMP–no OLED screen, no HD support, not Zii software.

Back when the iPod wasn’t known for its technological breakthroughs, Creative PMPs were a decent low-priced alternative. I don’t know what niche market they appeal to now.
