Honestly, the Meizu M8 is not holding up as our famous iPhone clone, and even earlier reports that the M8 may run Google’s Android in the near future did little to attract more interest to the Cinese mobile brand. For the time being, Meizu CEO Jack Wong still has to officially announce Android on the Meizu M8 and the Android OS running on an actual Meizu M8 in the video below shouldn’t be credited to the company but to diehard fans of the touchscreen Windows CE iPhone clone. You can try porting Android in your own M8 if you own one by going to this page.

Very nice. I love the idea of Android on iPhone hardware, and this is pretty close.
Not sure I’d give up my iPhone 3GS anytime soon, but if Android on the same hardware was an option that “anytime soon” might come a little earlier.
