Listen up ultrasn0w aficionados. The iPhone Dev Team has just released an update version of their ultrasn0w iPhone unlock to address an issue concerning iPhones running firmware 3.1.x and baseband 04.26. That lethal combination results in the carrier logo not being displayed. It might seem like a petty problem for some, but when roaming, it becomes a serious issue. Ultrasn0w v0.92 is now available at http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com in Cydia, and no, this still doesn’t work on the new baseband 05.11.07. If you want an iPhone unlock that works on those basebands, then you should try out the blacksn0w iPhone unlock by Geohot.
