Yes it can. The reportedly Android-based RAmos W7 MID does run the Android OS. This device is a g00d 4.8-inch 800 × 480 touchscreen PMP with WiFi. It runs on a Rockchip processor and supports 1080p videos. You cannot actually play these 1080p videos on the 4.8-inch screen but there is HDMI out.
