Are you as excited as we are about the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10, the company’s first Android phone? Well, if you’re in the UK, then we’ve got good news for you.

The Sony Ericsson online shop in the UK has just put up a pre-order page for the XPERIA X10, and lists it as launching in February 2010.This is the most specific launch date we’ve got at the moment which could also mean that it will be released around the same time as well elsewhere (cross your fingers guys). Aside from running on Android, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 also boasts of a 4-inch touchscreen, 8.1-megapixel AF camera, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and features their new UX interface, Mediascape, and Timescape apps that helps set this baby apart from the rest of the Android pack.

Yes you could say that, but then again it will the judgment of the public when they finally used it. Congrats to UK!
Next, will be Asia?
First time to see Sony-ericcson all “balls-deep” on a new smartphone in particular an android phone? We agree, that Xperia has a bitter history on older models. Hopefully, this X10 release will turned out to be a happy-ending.
