The most hitly anticipated mobile phone launch in China (we kid iPhone, or are we?) will happen this week courtesy of China Mobile. China’s largest wireles network has held on despite pressures from the Apple iPhone to take the Dell Mini 3i instead. Is it going to regret it? Given that China Mobile has half a billion subscribers and the prohibitive price of the Unicom iPhone, I’m putting my money on the OPhone-running Dell. It case you didn’t know, the Mini 3i is 3.5-inch 640 x 360 touchscreen phone with GPS, Bluetooth, 3 MP camera w/ autofocus. The Chinese version will not have WiFi though the Brazil version will. Let’s hope the price is competitive folks.
