Will this be the rival of the Mintpad? Announced earlier this year, the SAFA Magic Study has been priced and launched. So far, the Magic Study will only be available in Korea, it’s aimed to help young students learn their lessons. In Korea, eDictionaries are quite popular. SAFA’s Magic Study, however, has taken a giant step in terms of form factor abandoning the clamshell design for the pocket-friendly box. The Magic Study has a 3.5-inch touchscreen which responds to a stylus. It supports AVU, H.264, MPEG4, WMV9 videos and MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC and APE lossless music files. It’s available with 8GB or 16GB built-in with microSD for extension. Priced at 329,000 won ($284) for the 8GB and 369,000 won ($319) for the 16GB. Will this come out of Korea. If the Magic Study does hit the U.S., I’m sure the ‘Magic English Game’ will be replaced by ‘Magic French Game’ or ‘Magic Spanish Game’ where users can practice listening, writing and interpreting with 5,000 Spanish or French sentences.
