If you’ve been out of the loop for the past couple of months, you probably missed the news that Samsug is building their own homegrown OS.

Called Bada, this first batch of devices running on this new platform are expected to be unveiled next year, but as far a the new OS is concerned, it’s just a week away from making its grand debut. We’re pretty excited about this for two reasons: 1) Samsung is a veteran in the industry and they know what the market wants, and 2) a phone’s OS is now a distinguishing feature across handsets which can help further differentiate their phones from the rest of the pack. We haven’t got a clue as to what the Bada will be like, but we’re certainly hoping that it’ll be as impressive as the ELSE INTUITION on the First Else.
Anyway, December 8 isn’t that far away so we’ll soon find out what they’ve been working on, and more importantly, if it’s truly worth watching out for.
