With talk of the iPhone 4G starting to heat up courtesy of the recently discovered iPhone 3,1, there’s also now talk that this particular new iPhone will be the one headed for other carriers in the US aside from AT&T. The iPhone coming to Verizon has been speculated on several times already in the past, but now, T-Mobile USA is being considered as a more likely candidate by analyst Doug Reid as opposed to the former who’s responsible for getting close to a million people hooked on the Motorola Droid in the country.

Given that T-Mobile already has rights to the iPhone albeit limited to Germany and they’re a GSM network just like AT&T, its hard not to see why Apple would actually choose T-Mobile over Verizon as their new partner in the US. Be that as it may, the decision is still up to Apple and nothing’s official until we hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. How about you guys? Let’s get your voices in - which carrier would you prefer as Apple’s new partner in selling the iPhone in the US: Verizon or T-Mobile?

I hope it doesn’t come to T-Mobile. While I’d love to see them get the influx of customers this ultimately would bring, I have no desire to have the network I rely on for business brought to it’s knees by clueless Apple fanbois doing nothing but continually surfing the web in a repeat of never-ending September.
Let Verzion have it. Please!

I have t-mobile and it would be cool 4 it to go onto t-mobile. but Verizon is the biggest phone company and has great service and more. its just apple won’t work with Verizon because they want some stuff changed about the iphone. like a battery on the back so you can switch out batterys and to cover the phone if it get stolen or falls into water. I think that they should bend 4 Verizon.
I VOTE VERIZON!
At&t has the best phones but Verizon has the best coverage

T-Mobile is the way to go.

Verizon uses an older technology. It is not GSM like AT&T and T Mobile. Iphone works only on GSM networks.

I’ll pick the carrier where I’m not raped for using data. Likely, that means TMO.

Verizon and AT&T are illegally spying on Americans, and with just that, I want iphone on T-Mobile. I have been using T-Mobile for 4 years, with no problems.
