After hitting it big with the Droid/Milestone, it looks like Motorola is now planning to take a dip into the more budget conscious segment of the market with their next Android phone release. This is based on recently unearthed evidence that the US-based phone maker is working on a “low-end Android clamshell” that’s currently dubbed as the La Jolla. If this pushes through, the Motorola La Jolla could stand to be the first Android flip phone to become available in the market.

We don’t have an actual picture of the device just yet (Engadget, however, thinks it’ll look something like the LG phone above), but we do have some of its specs already. Reported features of the La Jolla Android phone include a WQVGA display, a QWERTY keypad, and a 528MHz processor running under the hood. We’re going out on a limb and guessing that a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, and Bluetooth will also be part of the package as well though there’s still no evidence to support this at the moment.
How about you guys? What do you think will the Motorola La Jolla Android flip phone come with?
