It looks like the 4G iPhone is a definite go. This is based on the latest news on the iPhone front. According to a tweet by Eldar Murtazin of Mobile Review, a guy who’s pretty credible when it comes to stuff like this, Foxconn has received orders for the next generation iPhone already. Foxconn, for those who may not know, is the one responsible for producing all of the previous iPhones. This supports speculation that an iPhone 4G is on the way which all started when a particular iPhone 3,1 was spotted in iBart’s app usage records.
There’s still no word though on what it’ll look like or come with, but if it were to remain competitive with the rest of the smartphones out in the market right now, a Snapdragon processor and possibly LTE support and a front-facing camera for video calling should be part of the package by then. How about you guys? What are you hoping the 4G iPhone will come with?

I would like to see…
A (much) better battery.
Better reception (for the love of god).
Multitasking.
And a nice update would be auto downloading (via push notification) of subscribed podcasts.

You’d like to see multitasking? The iphone has multitasked since day #1 2007.

AMOLED touch screen, more rounded rather than pointed corners, changeable bateries, multitasking with customizable task manager, noise cancellation, free access to factory unlocked to anybody who wants it that way (apples partners service providers are too arrogant and hand twisting toward their customers), KEEPING ALL THE NICE THINGS WE HAVE LIKED SO FAR,competitive pricing (a little more expensive than Nexus One, but not too much to turn you off instantly), keeping and improving build material for sturdiness and always fresh look. One more thing: I am afraid they might make it too big. If they make it too big, the next iphon will turn into either a huge phone or too little tablet computer. It will fit nowhere.
I know there will be critics saying: and you want that all for a price comperable to Nexus One, but if you pay close attention, all the features above are just changes in Apple’s “attitude” toward the design of their new device. They are not additions to any features that Nexus One already has and it cost $530.00 only. If Nexus One had at least 4 Gb flash memory and metal frame, I would never think of buying more expensive touch screen phone.
