Google Nexus One

Here’s some new info on the recently leaked Google Nexus One Android phone. It will apparently come with a 5-megapixel camera and flash though it’s still not clear what type it is (LED or something else). This is courtesy of some pics that were discovered on Picasa which were taken last November 7th using a device called the HTC Nexus One. Some further digging also reveals that other images were also uploaded much earlier using the same device albeit being referred to as “Phone88” in the EXIF data, and fortunately, includes some close-up snapshots of the Nexus One as well. As you’ll probably notice, the picture quality isn’t exactly top notch, but given that most phones these days still churn out mediocre pictures despite the advancements with the technology, we’re not really that surprised. We don’t have a release date yet for this purported Google phone, but rumor has it that it could debut sometime in January. Check back soon as we’re pretty sure more info about this intriguing touchscreen phone will surface in the coming weeks.
