Joshua Topolsky was on last night at Jimmy Fallon’s show, and while it wasn’t the Apple Tablet which he brought along with him, he did give us a glimpse at a live working version of the ICD Vega tablet along with the Barnes & Noble Nook and other new gadgets.
We already featured this tablet back in November, but for those who may have missed it, here’s a quick rundown of its specs: Nvidia Tegra processor, 1.3-megapiel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G connectivity, 3.5mm jack, and microSD card slot for additional storage. It runs on Android 2.0, does full HD 1080p video playback, and based on the video above, is pretty snappy. The Vega showcased in the show was the smaller 7-inch version, but there’s also a larger 15.6-inch variant that’s also available for those who want more touchscreen real-estate.
Sure, the Vega isn’t as sexy as the Apple Tablet renderings we’ve seen before, but at least it’s real which is more than what we can say about long rumored Mac Tablet.
