You heard it right. The next Mac OS X version is codenamed “Clouded Leopard,” refering mainly, I believe, to cloud computing–said to be the future. The specs are curiously believable:
- Mac OS X Clouded Leopard
- 7.1-inch multitouch screen
- Aluminum unibody frame
- 2.2GHz C2D processor
- 2GB DDR3 RAM
- 120GB HD
- WiFi, Bluetooth
- Built-in projector
OK, we’re kidding. It’s actually very hard to believe Apple is willing to mass produce such a hulking piece of untested hardware, especially with no clear market to speak of. A 2.2GHz processor in a 7-inch tablet? How are they going to cool this thing?
