It looks like Google is really serious is taking on Apple head on. Based on this latest rumor, they are now in talks with Spotify, an online music service that already has apps available for the iPhone, Android, and Symbian platform. We’ve got very little information right now as to what their future working relationship will be, but speculation is that they’re joining forces to come out with a music service to rival the Apple iTunes Store. It makes perfect sense from Google’s stand point as it will further complete their gamut of services and will definitely equip their Android OS with the appropriate services to compete with the iPhone head-to-head in every department. Spotify will also benefit from this collaboration as they’ll get added exposure and more clients thanks to the popularity of Google. Unfortunately, we don’t have additional information to provide you guys at the moment, but do check back soon as we’re pretty sure more details will surface in the coming weeks.
