Palm webOS 1.3.5 for the Palm Pre has been out in the US since late last year which brings a number of enhancements including simultaneous downloads and the removal of app storage limits. However, those in Europe, particularly in Germany, have got more reason to smile over their newly released webOS 1.3.5.2 update as it also now features Bluetooth tethering functionality apart from the ones mentioned earlier. The latest firmware available for the Palm Pre in the North American region is webOS 1.3.5.1 which comes with a bug fix that addresses an issue when syncing to an Exchange account that results in the deletion of calendar events. It’s still unclear whether or not Bluetooth tethering will become a staple feature in future iterations of the webOS platform, but for now, it’s a definite go in Germany thanks to webOS 1.3.5.2.
