Dutch manufacturer introduced a slew of new MP3 players and PMPs at this year’s CES. They won’t break technological barriers but they’re all nicely metallic and reminds me of MP3 players three years ago. Here they are:
Philips Cam: the most interesting of the bunch because of its built-in camera. Not anywhere as thin as the iPod Nano but the camera is capable of taking videos and still photos. The 8GB is $99.99.
Philips Muse: 3.2-inch touchscreen, HDMI (possibly full HD support), 16GB for $149.99.
Philips Ariaz and Raga: We know the GoGear Ariaz and GoGear Raga from Philips. The players below are not the same models. They Ariaz (top) has a 2.4-inch screen with 8GB onboard and an SD slot. Priced at $79.99, it’s a lot less interesting than the GoGear Ariaz, which makes me think it will only be distributed in China. Ditto with the $44.99 4GB Raga.
