No, this isn’t an official press photo of the Motorola Mirage (Shadow), but we have to admit, we certainly wouldn’t mind if it actually debuted as such. Word is that this upcoming Motorola Android handset, which looks like a trimmed down twin of their popular Droid/Milestone, might actually be the Nexus Two Enterprise phone being alluded to in recent news. The reported specs of the Motorola Mirage is certainly mouth-watering, and definitely makes it a worthy upgrade to the Nexus One. There’s no hard evidence to back this up just yet, but given how Motorola has helped in boosting the popularity of the Android platform through their Droid phone, it doesn’t exactly take a genius to figure out why Google would want to partner with Motorola for their next handset offering.
This is pure speculation right now, but it’s certainly plausible. Hopefully, more information will become available in the coming weeks to support this report. For now, you can just drool over the rendered image of the Motorola Shadow created by the folks over at Mobile01 to your heart’s content.
