This is the first time we’ve heard of Freelander PMPs. Their models don’t look too bad, though we can’t put too much stake on rendered photos. From what I understand these are exclusive to China Mobile and should get China Mobile’s “Eye Color of China” TV service with a three-year contract, though I’m not sure the tariff reflects on the price. Here they are:

Freelander T30 -

This is a CMMB-enabled PMP with a 3.5-inch screen.It will have a pearl-white body probably similar to the Asus seashell netbooks in feel and glossiness. You’ll have directional buttons, though, instead of the ever popular touchscreen. It supports RM, RMVB, DAT, MPG, AVI, 3GP, MP4, ASF, WMV, FLV videos and MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC music files with ID3 tagging. This 2GB player is 599 yuan ($88)

The Freelander T50 -

Is a bigger 4.3-inch widescreen PMP with CMMB and 4GB of storage. It’s a thin PMP at 9.5mm. It supports the same files as the T30 and is also equipped with ID3 tagging. It’s priced at 899 yuan ($132).
