Similar to when the iPhone first debuted back in 2007, consensus about Apple’s latest product, the iPad, is split. Some like it and probably most don’t, but I guess only time will tell if this will be another huge hit for Steve Jobs or an overly hyped epic fail for the company. Anyway, for those interested to know more about the iPad, we’ve now have its full specs for you.

- (micro?) SIM card tray (3G model)

Personally, we’re not too thrilled about the iPad (or iTampon as what others would prefer to call it now), and as we noted in a previous post, they would have been better off announcing an Apple netbook instead. Sure, a netbook wouldn’t have been groundbreaking, but hey, initial impressions about the iPad isn’t that stellar either. On a positive note, however, their new iBookStore looks promising though if only they could lower the price of books which I have high hopes will eventually happen in the future.
For those who missed out on the whole event and want to see Steve Jobs introduce their latest product to the public for the very first time, we also have the iPad launch video here.
