We’ve seen a similar form factor in gaming consoles everywhere but this is the first time we’ve seen a foldable one. Why didn’t anybody think of the idea sooner?
JXD V3 is a 480 x 272 4.3-inch MP4 gamer that comes built-in with a 5 MP camera. There’s no mention of the operating system or what processor it’s using but I can imagine this with a 533MHz Samsung processor or better, WiFi and an Android OS to be a most delectable gadget. For now the specs are relatively simple: MP4 and MP3 support and a host of game emulation: GBA, GBC, GB, NES, SMD, SMC, BIN, SWF. That’s 8 to 32 bit games. It sells for $111 at the Ownta store and includes 8GB of memory built-in. The JXD V3 is a significant improvement on the JXD2000 and JXD1000 game emulators that we’ve last seen, both PSP clones.
