Whatever happened to the iPhone OS 4.0 that was supposedly launching alongside the iPad last January? Obviously, it didn’t happen, and like most of you, we’re also thinking that Apple will just debut it on their new iPhone 4G which is expected to be unveiled sometime in January. However, based on an anonymous tip, we might get to see a preview of it next month, on March 14th to be exact. Given that this date falls on a Sunday, everyone’s pretty skeptical about this tidbit.
Nonetheless, a March preview isn’t exactly something new for Apple. If you can recall, they also gave us a glimpse of what iPhone OS 3.0 was all about back in March of last year. The date for the iPhone OS 4.0 briefing party maybe questionable, but the March preview is certainly more than plausible. Hopefully, we can get confirmation on this in the next couple of days.
