RIM has been in the business for quite sometime now, but it’s just recently when they started venturing into other form factors for their phones. In 2008, they came out with their first flip phone in the form of the Pearl Flip and also introduced their first touchscreen phone via the BlackBerry Storm. This 2010, they might be coming out with their first BlackBerry slider phone if this leak proves to be true.
Apart from these pics, details about its specs are still pretty scarce at the moment, but based on its design, it could pack a touchscreen to complete its full QWERTY keypad. It also appears to come equipped with an optical trackpad. Rumor has it that this slider will likewise debut the new BlackBerry OS 6.0.
Interesting stuff, but unfortunately, that’s all we have for now. Hopefully, we’ll get more substantial info about this intriguing new BlackBerry smartphone in the next couple of weeks.

Hey I like Blackberry mobile phones.This is perfect one for me as I have never experienced any Blackberry slider touch screen phone.I will wait for this phone as it has nice features.BlackBerry OS 6.0 is better for this.

Wow! I can’t wait for this phone to come out. I’ve always said that they needed to come up with a blackberry slider with a touch screen. Its about time they catch up. I find that the iPhone is fantastic with all these little apps, being able to do pretty much everything on the move is fantastic. You can attend to pretty much anything, anywhere, anytime! The future has arrived and I love it!
