HP Slate demoed on Video, Shows of Flash capabilities

Microsoft, New Products, WiFi Internet

HP has been very active in the netbook business having released quite a number of models already since the debut of the HP Mini Note 2133. Now that the trend is veering towards the direction of full touchscreeen tablets, it’s not surprising that HP will also be releasing a slate PC of their own this year. When this will exactly happen we still don’t know, but we do have this video courtesy HP and Adobe demonstrating its capabilities in front of the camera.

Flash is confirmed on the HP Slate as well as hardware acceleration for better performance and longer battery life. Obviously, HP is highlighting these features this early on since this is what’s clearly lacking in Apple’s recently announced iPad.

We’re still waiting on its other specs to be announced, but we have to admit, we like what we’ve seen so far. Hopefully, its price will be as competitive as the iPad or their netbook offerings, if not cheaper.

Microsoft is coming up with HP Slate that is a convenient piece of device that is as portable as a mobile phone and as powerful as a PC that is compatible to run with Windows 7. Microsoft has always delivered the best for customer service so i hope this one also will be rocking and good competitor for Apple tablet.
