Supporting earlier rumors that iChat may soon be available on the iPhone, this screenshot of the processes running on the newly released iPhone OS 4.0 SDK clearly shows that there is an iChatAgent bundled in the latest firmware. Though there’s still no evidence of it actually being functional, this is as good a sign as any that iChat or some sort of video calling service is in the cards for an iPhone release in the near future. When this will exactly happen we don’t know, but if the upcoming 4G iPhone comes packed with a front-facing camera which, by the way, Engadget also found evidence of in the new SDK, then it’s highly likely that iChat may get the go signal to go live later this year. So, in light of this latest development, what’s the current status of iChat and an iPhone front-facing camera? We can’t say it’s fully confirmed yet as this might not materialize into something more concrete than just codes, but we can now, more than ever, safely say that it’s highly plausibly.

We all know that now every phone comes with the dual camera one in the front also, so that we can do video chat with anyone. But there is no feature in iphone so what will be the alternative to it.
