I am mildly amused by eviGroup’s media tablet offering. Simly dubbed the eviGroup Pad, it’s most distinct feature is the 10.6-inch resistive touchscreen. You’d think but you would be wrong. You see, the device wil feature an artificial intelligence by the name of Seline10. Yep, they say it’s an A.I. virtual secretary that will help [...]

In a landmark move, Rogers has just included the HP Mini 110 netbook as part of its product line-up. They’re the first mobile carrier in Canada to offer up a netbook to subscribers aside from the usual mobile phones. The HP Mini features the usual Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, and WiFi [...]

Officially, Sony has jumped into the netbook laptop free-for-all with the Viao W. As you may remember, the Sony P isn’t officially a netbook but a lifestyle PC. The Viao W, however, is officially a netbook and looks like a netbook, too, and like most Sony laptops, this netbook is one notch better than competition, [...]

This is a crazy thin laptop from our beloved HiPhone. Only 22mm deep, which is slightly thinner than the MacBook Air. Sure it’s plasticky and it only has an Intel N270 1.6GHz processor but for 12.1-inch 160GB netbook, the $450 asking price is fairly reasonable. They even have a cheaper model here, but you need [...]

Granted that the “premium” in the branding of this netbook is somewhat questionable, the new Samsung N310 is nonetheless still a welcome addition to the hordes of netbooks available in the market today. The speed of its Intel Atom processor is still unknown, but it is confirmed to come with a 10.1-inch display, 160GB HDD, [...]

Our friends at Dapreview found this one yesterday: a 160GB Archos 705 going for only $269.99 at Amazon.com, or almost half the original pricing. Dapreview has its doubts but after looking at the Amazon page, I have very little reason or none at all to doubt the price is official. Yep, Archos 5th generation prices [...]
