<p>Chinese manufacturers are betting on high-def resolution to tide over the PMP market in these tough times, and I think they&#8217;re onto something. I have no idea how much the Gemei X690HD and the T9, successor of the <a href="http://www.pmptoday.com/2008/05/26/ramos-t8-43-inch-touchscreen-pmp-introduced/">RAmos T8</a>, will go for, but my guess they will be pretty reasonable. Gemei will have the Ingenic Chinachips 720p chip most likely. Ainol&#8217;s <a href="http://mp4nation.net/blog/?p=470">V3000HD</a> uses a similar chip. Still proof is in the pudding; we&#8217;re hoping for a review video soon</p>
