The next iPhone iteration is coming, if all the iPhone 4G rumors are to be believed, but what interests us today is the new HiPhone slider, dubbed W008. The HiPhone W008 looks passably like a Nano clone, but rest assured the clickwheel is a genuine knock-off of the original. For $127.99 you get a slideout keypad, dual cameras, JAVA, MP4 and MP3 support. Also added is a shake-function for music browsing. Meizu M9 Phone Specs Released

The indomitable Jack Wong, CEO of Meizu, is having a fine day today announcing the specifications of the Meizu M9. If you were hopinh this won’t be an iPhone clone, you’ll be disappointed as the biggest news is the new, thinner form factor:

Meizu M9 dimensions: 59.5 mm x 113 mm x 11 mm

There’s also no built-in storage, which doesn’t surprise us too much. Why compete with iPhone on that area when you can lower the price without it. The rest of the specs have not strayed at all from the previously announced Meizu M9.

Android APhone A6 Video: Still an iPhone Clone

What strikes me as totally awesome is how they make it look like the iPhone even though its supposed to be running Android. I’m talking about the APhone A6, which just slapped Google’s face by mimicking the iPhone home screen on an Android device. Putting Android in an iPhone-like hardware is like spitting on Google’s face. So far, no word from Google about this callused behavior from a veteran iPhone cloner.

Oh yes, before the APhone A7 there was the A5, a more accurate iPhone clone. The A6 improves on its predecessor not only by running Android, it has a BlackBerry like trackball where the iPhone home button should’ve been.

YPhone 168+ is HiPhone 168+ with QWERTY Keyboard

Taking a leaf from the Cooli902, HiPhone has introduced a new slideout version of its famous iPhone clone and calls it the YPhone 168+. It’s not the yPhone! (Yahoo! Phone) and no word on the all-important OS for the 3.2-inch touchscreen phone, and we cannot allow our readers to get their hopes up assuming the rendering above is how the YPhone 168+ homescreen actually looks life. However, the well-featured iPhone clone has WiFi, a TV antenna, dual-SIM and dual cameras. It has Bluetooth and JAVA support, plays MP4 and MP3 and records audio and video. They’re selling it for $169. at the store link below.

We never thought we could get one this cheap. The Meizu M8 for only 199 euros? The original iPhone clone and erstwhile iPhone killer for only $295 unlocked. Why, that’s at least $100 cheaper than the original price. This is the same 3.2-inch touchscreen phone with a 720 x 480 screen resolution. The same Meizu M8 that boasts video support for FLV, AVI, MP4, 3GP, MOV, ASF, WMV, MPEG, MKV. This smartphone is unlocked and virtually unsurpassed in looking like iPhone without being, officially known as, an iPhone clone. The very same Meizu M8 that made one of the best PMP manufacturers in China what it is today–a mobile also-ran.

APhone A6 is an Android iPhone Clone

Cool phones don’t have to flaunt their coolness. The APhone is not like the Motorola Droid. It doesn’t go about falling from the sky like some big apocalyptic catastrophe, and it doesn’t brag about killing the iPhone. The APhone A6 is a quiet phone with obvious attractions (it’s obviously an iPhone clone, though this isn’t its biggest asset). Despite its superfifical awesomeness, the A6 has an even more awesome surprise inside. It runs on the Google Android operating software.

If that doesn’t amaze you yet, here’s more: 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD, WiFi, Bluetooth, camera dn Android 1.5. So, better than the HiPhone, SciPhone and other iPhone clones? You decide.

3GS HiPhone Compass: iPhone Clone Has it All

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to report to you a breakthrough in iPhone clones: though the 3GS-HIPHONE-COMPASS may not be an actual 3G cellphone, it makes up for it in other iPhone-like features, namely the 3.5 touchscreen, WiFi and an actual compass. It;s also a camera phone bettering the iPhone with video record capability. Even better, this HiPhone has Bluetooth with a high probability we cannot confirm of file sync support. It’s also instant messaging ready with QQ and MSN. Other features include FM tuner, video and audio recorder, stopwatch, e-Book and a microSD slot. All for $165 (that’s U.S. dollars) from Chinagrabber. If this isn’t the best iPhone clone we have written about in a month, I’m sure we’ll be back with a better one soon enough (hint, hint SciPhone).

Digital Cube i-Station E9: “not” an iPod Touch Clone

Ok, we don’t have much interesting news about iPhone clones and iPod Touch clones recently, but here’s a nice little touchscreen PMP: the Digital Cube i-Station E9.

This iPhone clone has 3-inches of viewing space with support for AVI, RM/RMVB, FLV, WMV, 3GP, MPG, DAT, MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE. It has a note-taking fucntion, which is quaint, I guess, and there’s FM, too. Available in 4GB and 8GB. Depending on how good it works, the $115 and $132 prices may not be much of a bargain.
