Do you want the thinnest personal navigation device (PND) in the world? The Galaxy GPS-C3250 is only 13mm thin or almost as thin as the iPhone 3G S and it may also be pure coincidence that the user interface that comes with it reminds us of the iPhone. Oh, well, the specs follows: 5-inch touchscreen SIRF Atlas-III Windows [...]

We’ll soon know if the TG01 Snapdragon phone will live up to its billing as Toshiba has released it for consumers redubbed T-01A, at the for NTT DoCoMo. Of course, the success of the T-O1A will set up the upcoming TG02 and TG03 quite nicely. The 4.1 touchscreen will give a decent WinMo 6.1 albeit [...]

Just when we thought HiPhone is winning the cloning wars by a huge margin, SciPhone suddenly made its biggest leap yet in cloning terms. First, the SciPhone N12 is the first SciPhone Nseries phone we’ve ever heard of and, second, it runs a genuine Android OS. Not only that, it’s got crazy specs like WiFi, [...]

The new user interface dubbed “Magazine” by iRiver will have another hardware showcasing it. The iRiver NV Classic seems unperturbed by the new iPhone 3G S, which features a built-in compass and turn-by-turn navigation. Theoretically, an all-in-one computer like the iPhone can drive a device like the iRiver Classic out of business, but perhaps drivers [...]

We’ve been wondering when Chuwi will come out with its UMPC. If Aigo can do it, why not Chwui, maker of the T8 PMP? The Chuwi W3000 has WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS and the tastiest optional applications: instant messaging, navigation software, among others probably related to multimedia. It plays AVI and RMVB and perhaps other [...]

The new navigators from Mio will sport their brandnew Spirit UI that features kinetic scrolling. How’s that for an enticement? Mio has three non-TV GPS devices, namely the Navman Spirit S300, S500 and Navman Flat. They all have the Spirit touchscreen UI and text-to-speech. We’re more interested, however, in the unnamed 7-inch PND + TV [...]

We just learned that some Acer Tempos have already been made available in Europe and Asia. The DX900 and X960 are both Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphones. Both have WiFi, GPS and VGA screens. They shouldn’t come too cheap without a contract, and with that said I wonder why Acer hasn’t announced prices for the phone [...]

Reuters is reporting that the GPS smartphone announced by Garmin early last year will be delayed again. If you remember Garmin has partnered with Asus for the launching of the freshly dubbed Nuviphone G60. A June release was estimated and it appears that the estimate overestimated Garmin and Asustek’s capability. Probable details about the Nuviphone G60: [...]
