18. September 2009

Despite its lack of originality when it comes to its design, we definitely love what this new Mitac MID has to offer under the hood. Aside from being equipped with an Nvidia Tegra chip, this yet-to-be-named Mitac MID also boasts of 720p media playback, HDMI output, TV Tuner, and Windows CE with a custom UI. [...]

18. September 2009

I am simply impressed by what Teclast has recently announced. Above is the T56, which is a 5-inch 800 x 480 PMP that supports 1080p videos. Of course, the screen is too low-rez for 1080p so you got the HDMI output. Also added is integrated GPS, which is definitely something you don’t see every day [...]

Thanko MP3 Micro Sports is Smallest Ever DAP?

17. September 2009

This is the smallest MP3 player we’ve seen though not exactly cheap starting at $55 for the 2GB player. Thanko’s MP3 Micro Sports fits in one ear, though it’s not likely to appeal as much as the also tiny Shrek MP3 player from the same company. If you like the price and the looks, here are [...]

16. September 2009

The new A-series OLED PMP from Sony is their thinnest ever Walkman. The NW-A840 is only 7.2mm, so thin in fact that there’s little choice not to make this an OLED player. The screen is 2.8 inches, which means you will need the video out option to fully enjoy the 720 x 480 videos this [...]

ONDA VX575HD Uses Jogdial

13. September 2009

This HDMI-, HD-, OTG-supporting PMP from ONDA gives one an unbelievable decent viewing rsolution of 800 × 480 on its 5.0-inch screen. The VX575HD is also no wash out with up to 170 degrees viewing. That’s pretty good, but what I like about this PMP and what I think will distinguish it from the rest [...]

7. September 2009

When we reported on Difital-Cube’s iStation T3 PMP, we’ve predicted the multimedia device will eat up iPod Touch sales. It wasn’t to be and the company thinks a change of hardware design will do it (definitely not an iPhone clone). It’s still a 4.3-inch (480 x 272) touchscreen PMP but no mention of fancy HD [...]

The most sought after Creative future-ware remains just that, future-ware. The ZEN X-Fi2 is a successor of the ZEN X-Fi, a tad more portable and a touchscreen. SanDisk has announced a slightly redesigned Sansa Clip which comes with slotMusic (microSD cards with pre-loaded albums) support.
