Pandora Digital, which seems to specialize in offbeat, nonmainstream products, has released the SK-426, which is a member of the Princess Series (and sure seems happy about it). This device supports AMV videos, MP1, MP2, MP3 and WMA audio files, and BMP and JPEG images.
A 1.8-inch CSTN or TFT screen that displays 65,000 colors is built-in. FM radio (up to 40 station presets), voice recording (WAV or ACT) and e-book reader functionality are included, as are six EQ settings. The SK-426 can also save files (yeah, that kind of files) in a “secret place”, where they can’t be seen unless you know the password. Finally, red and silver versions are available, in case you’re not feeling the whole lime look.

The EB-T80 from Resun Electronics doesn’t do those newfangled DVB-T, DMB or 1seg technologies, preferring old-school portable TV through VHF, UHF and CATV (PAL, NTSC or SECAM formats). It also plays nice with a host of file formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2 ,MPEG-4, DivX3.11, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x, AVI, MPG, WMV, MP3, WMA and JPEG.
Incorporating an 8-inch TFT display sourced from Sharp, the device comes with FM transmission capability. It has a USB 2.0 port and a slot that fits SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, xD and RS-MMC cards. Internal memory is done through HDD and hits a maximum of 120GB. Dimensions are 163×230x28mm.

The NXMP324 from Neux Corp. is obviously more of a novelty product than a serious PMP, as evidenced by its soda can design. The device supports MP3, WMA, WMV, WAV and ASF file formats with ID3 tags and lyrics display.
An OLED screen of unspecified dimensions, a microphone and a USB 2.0 port are built-in. FM radio and voice recording functionality are included, as are seven EQ settings. Internal memory comes in capacities of 128, 256 and 512MB, and 1, 2 and 4GB. Dimensions are 4.9×2.8cm, and blue and red versions are available.

Whether you love or hate digital photo frames, you do have to admit that most of them bear a striking similarity to each other. Well, T&H International has the cure for the common look with its DPF-070A, which sports an unusual swivel-capable design. It supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and AVI videos, MP3 and WMA audio files, and unspecified image types.
The device incorporates a 7-inch TFT screen, stereo 1W speakers, and a USB port. It can interact with NTSC and PAL systems, and comes with AV-in connectivity on request. Slots for CompactFlash, MS, SD, MMC and xD cards are built-in.

KBS Industrial’s F341 does PMP in a way that’s pretty different from most other devices of its type. The model supports MTV, WMV and ASF videos, Ogg, MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA and WAV audio files (with lyrics display), and unspecified image formats.
The F341 has a OLED screen that can show up to 65,000 colors. Dimensions for this display aren’t given, but we have a suspicion that it’s on the miniscule side. Voice recording, seven EQ settings and a USB 2.0 port are standard, while FM radio functionality is an option. Internal memory ranges from 128Mb to 1GB. Dimensions are 36.8×31.8×12.6mm, and weight is 32g.

Perhaps the most popular rejects in this year’s American Idol and the new William Hung that is arguably more popular than William Hung himself, Renaldo Lapuz can now be downloaded via iTunes Store. Lapuz’s more-than-fifteen-minutes of fame was courtesy of the amused judges of American Idol, Paula, Randy and Simon, particularly Simon Cowell who predicted Lapuz’s rise to fame. The music video is titled We’re Brothers Forever, which is also the title of the original song written by Lapuz himself.
The music video is free, 7 minutes long and is 83MB. The American Idol clip after the break.

We brought you a PMP that uses an Alienware welcome screen, now we found an Alienware phone concept that will beat the pants off ya’. The cellphone does not appear to do more than make or receive calls, play MP3 and text using the touch-sensitive keypad. We don’t think it plays games, though equipped with a joystick, which is a letdown on so many levels. But as a concept it’s pretty cool with all the lights emitting out of its alien-like hardware, which should, for all intents and purposes, be running Google’s Android open platform. This is exactly what we’re talking about (sort of) when we asked you if it makes sense for Dell to buy Motorola.

We know what you’re thinking- just another iPod Nano clone. Well, this unnamed model from Aovoou Technology takes design imitation to the next level with the perfidious inclusion of Apple’s dock connector. Still, this device isn’t a complete copy, with support for WMV and ASF videos, MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA and WAV audio files, and unspecified image formats.
The model has a “High Speed” TFT LCD, a microphone and a USB port (version unknown). FM radio, e-book reader and firmware upgrading functionality are included, as are seven EQ settings.

While the busy front of Egoman Technology’s MD399iFOD (and that’s a sneaky little product name) may appear to be a fancy breathalyzer or some other type of medical device, it actually is a full-fledged PMP with support for MTV videos, MP3, WMA and DRM10-equipped audio files (with ID3 tags and lyrics display), and JPEG and BMP images.
The device sports a 1.8-inch OLED display that can show up to 262,000 colors. It comes with seven EQ settings, 3D surround effects, a mini USB 2.0 port and a slot for SD and MMC cards up to 4GB in capacity. While FM radio (with recording) capability is an option, voice recording functionality (ADPCM) is standard. Internal memory hits a maximum of 8GB, flash. Dimensions are 72×46x12mm and weight is 45g.

While Yifang Digital’s EV808 may superficially resemble an iTouch, the huge space between the screen edges and the bezel (on the sides) is a dead giveaway that this isn’t one of Cupertino’s best. The device supports AVI videos, MP3, WMA and DRM9-equipped audio files, and JPEG images.
A 2.8-inch TFT screen (not touch-type, apparently) with a 16:9 aspect ratio is built-in.E-book reader and FM radio functionality, and a USB 2.0 port are included, as is voice and radio recording. Internal memory comes in 128, 256 and 512MB, and 1, 2 and 4GB capacities, all flash. Dimensions are 99×49.5×7.9mm.
