The cp-11s from Spark Universe (which isn’t a very confidence-inspiring company name) is built along the lines of a UMPC or MID. It does have the function to back the form, though, running on Windows CE 5.0 (unfortunately, with only 64MB of RAM). Still, the built-in WiFi capability and support for MSN Messenger, Skype, TCPMP, Windows Media Player, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and a PDF viewer help ensure that you won’t be totally unproductive with one of these in hand.
The device plays nice with AVI, WMV, ASF, 3GP, DivX, Flash and MPEG-4 videos, MP3, WMA and WAV audio files, JPEG, BMP and GIF images, and Flash, 3D and NES/FC games. E-book reader capability is likewise included. The cp-11s incorporates a touchscreen TFT with a 16:9 aspect ratio and LCM backlighting, a USB 1.1 port and a slot for SD and MMC cards. Dimensions are 150×72x19.5mm and weight is 186g.
Editor: Oops! Looks like Vee missed a big one here. This happens to be the same Mini All VX1000, our Gadget of the Year for 2007.
