I guess spending $350 for the lowest-capacity Meizu M8 can put too much strain on on our bank accounts in this economic environment, which is what the good people of MeiLi must be thinking when they made their own version of the M8 Apple iPhone clone. The MeiLi M8 is undeniably a lookalike of the [...]

We totally missed this piece of Meizu news. The rumored Meizu M8 White has finally been officially launched. There was a little to-do about it in China. They’ve got pretty girls, paparazzi and everything. Just for your information, only the back is white. The front is still totally bordered with black. So not like the [...]

Jack Wong, Meizu CEO, has recently revealed in a Chinese forum some features of the Meizu M8 successor, to be called the Meizu M9. It appears that Chinese 3G support is going to make it to the Meizu phone iteration. In addition, the Meizu M9 will sport a 5 megapixel camera with LED and built-in [...]

It’s an original NokiPhone! It features dual-slide design reminiscent of the N95 and a 3.2-inch touchscreen, also benefits from dual SIM cards and a face that is as much iPhone as other, more brazen iPhone clones. It’s actually both Nokia clone and iPhone clone, which makes perfect sense considering the features. Too bad, NokiPhone has [...]

The hardware is eerily almost an exact copy of the iPhone hardware. If the HiPhone and the SciPhone, the other popular iPhone clone, is iPhone clone 1.0, the TiPhone is iPhone clone 2.0. We have no idea what OS they are using, and Engadget China only has the unboxing so far. It’s probably a rehash of [...]

We thought Meritech’s M35 Touch was rather interesting. Dubbed the mini PMP TV, the Meritech Tornado has a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen, multi-band TV tuner and perhaps the longest playing battery in the PMP world, not to mention a still rather slim 13mm. No price has been announced bu the Tonado is coming soon. [via gmp3]

The Meizu M8 will have a CDMA and 3G sccessor soon. The Meizu M9c phone is meant for CDMA2000 networks, while the M9t will support TD-SCDMA or Chinese 3G. We have a new familiar looking PMP from Yoto (Yuantong), which had impressed us in the past with the MVP-800. Besides the iPhonesque UI that includes what looks like an AIM widget (will it have WiFi?, the 3-inch player is a full touchscreen with multitasking and a full set of useful features like calendar, resource [...]

It’s been a while since we posted a decent iPhone clone. No idea whether GiPhone is related to HiPhone or SciPhone. I remember being told once these iPhone clones with iPhonesque names are all related to Cect phones. Anyway, what’s interesting about the GiPhone F5… well, the F5 has many interesting features: the white color, [...]
